Part 11 - Starting qmail

I am stuck here loosing my nerves already 2 days with no solution.
Sendmail doesn't work. Qmail doesnt work, nothing works!

when I run script -----/downloads/qmailrocks/scripts/util/qmr_inst_check
I get

I cannot telnet port 110, even if I have it open in firewall

I think I will give up on linux....

sounds like you skipped a couple of steps, its definately not linux

I didn't skip anything.
I did it 2 step by step, especially carefully second time, to be soure that I didn't miss something.
But still the same.

BTW I use Fedora core 2.

I also noticed when Install a
Part 15 - qmail-scanner w/qms-analog
When I run
./qms-config-script

I get only
./qms-config-script

./qms-config-script install

it takes a while to scan you have to let it finish. im running qmr on 3 fedora systems flawlessly, do you show the supervise scripts running when you do a ps -aux?


what do you get when you do ls -la /service?

again, it appears that you have missing files and that some of the steps have not been fully completed.
