Hello ppl,
I have found severall post around here concerned with clamav problems. Some ppl were asking if clamd was running. Now my question: I have reread the install guide and I can't see where we set clamd to autostart. Is it necessary that clamd runs all the time? I thought it would just be invoked every time a mail is scanned. Am I wrong?
If I am, how can I have it start at every reboot/boot?
Concerning sa (which is starting at every boot) I would like to know how I can have sa and clamav scan messages from local users as well and (do you think that would make sense?) also messages which I fetch with a simple fetch pop3 mail plugin from the squirrelmail website... - I don't even know if it is already happening - if I get the following header in my incoming mails does that mean clamav and sa are runi9ng and scanning?
