I am setting up a mail server using qmail and horde framework.I have also configured vpopmail.I want to login not using /etc/passwd file but with vpasswd user of vpopmail.Kindly try and give your solution to this problem...

Well if you followed the directions here you would be using virtual users which would do what your talking about.

Make sure you have (and understand basic use of) MySQL, it's a pretty easy way to manage domains and users, besides if you use phpmyadmin then you will be able to check those databases/tables easily.

There is variant not using MySQL but I haven't used it.

Using LDAP is yet another alternative, but in moment is beyond scope of QMR.
