Cannot Login ~ get ERROR every time

I have been using my Squirelmail for 3 weeks. Tues. AM it barfed after a reboot and I can't get in since then.

I get a COMMAND STREAM END OF FILE error in my mail log. I get a FAILED connect in my system logs and I have an IMAP2 on port 143.

I have tried resetting all sorts of things { too many to mention}.

Has anyone had this, or have any diagnostic help, or a solution?

Well, first is imap running? Can you telnet localhost 143?

I resolved this issue with the resetting of my .htpasswd file
