-ERR unable to write pipe

I'm using RedHat 9. I followed the qmail rocks instructions to a T, well at least I thought I did. I get this message every time I try to check for e-mails.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Edit: Is it possible to go back through the setup without having to remove everything? Will doing that cause any problems?

Couple of thoughts.

1) Did you run inst_check to check the install?
You can sometimes get this error if you forgot to replace the /*/bin/sendmail files with symlinks to the /var/qmail/bin/sendmail file.

2) look in /var/log/qmail/*/current (you have three sets) Do this right after you both try to check mail,and right after you inject the mail.

(Don't have time to try to replicate and fix the problem directly (if that's not the fix) - google can be your friend as well.

Okay, I fixed it. The simplest thigs.....

in the pop3 run file I had tankergames.com, and not mail.tankergames.com . Duh...
