I didn't get all the concepts of qmailrocks.
What's about updates?
You write in the chapter "Maintaining current software versions in general" that it is not a prob to update parts of the software.
It would be a great thing if there would be a script that combines the updates for the source-packages or at least a summary of how everything can be updated - from sources or with sytemtools like apt or rpm.
qmailrocks seems so perfect and complete to me that I really miss that possibility for perfection:
Part XX - Upgrade
(Debian)
simply type:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
then
cd /downloads
wget http://www.qmailrocks.org/downloads/qmailrocks-update-newest.tar.gz
tar zxvf qmailrocks-update-newest.tar.gz
/downloads/qmailrocks/scripts/update/update-newest-2005-07-01.script
done!
Dreaming is nice...
Whatever: qmailrocks is a great thing.
