I'm going to take a wild guess here, but I think you need the linux kernel source installed. You can install the tgz package from cd.

You need to apply the "errno" patch for qmail, uscpi-tcp, and for daemontools as well. This should be part of the instructions on this site. You must have overlooked this step.

You're not running the patch command correctly.
The proper syntax for the patch command is shown on this page in maroon colored text.

You probably need to reboot your machine just for good measure.
When it comes back up, see if you can start qmail.
If you are still getting these errors, please run these commands and post the output.
ls -la /service
ls -la /var/qmail/supervise
ps -ef
qmailctl stat
Not necessary to make screen captures everytime. If you can just copy and paste the text, that's probably easier and still shows what we need to see.

So you want to add a domain that is not a name, but just an IP address?? I think it can be done, but I've never done this... My advice would be to use real domains for this.

It works, I work within a lan without DNS therefore I must use only numerical IP by force. However now it works to the perfection all also I have put squirremail for the webmail !! :-)
Inasmuch as there are I say you also what it succeeds and that second my experience is strange:
On my cassette they continue to arrive of the mail from Mailer-daemon that say to me that the customer root does not exist!!! They signal a line error on/bin/sh
I can disabilitare all these warnings in order not to fill up the queqe uselessly?
Very very very tanks
sorry for my bad bad language translaction
