I'm not entirely sure if you have a DNS problem or what (that would be my first guess), but I can see why you're getting the "rcphosts" error:
<postmaster@68.78.207.85>:
68.78.207.85 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)
and then again here:

Subject: test
I seriously doubt you have "68.78.207.85" as a virtual domain on your email server. Because of that, email to postmaster@68.78.207.85 is undeliverable.
It looks as if you addressesed this test message to "postmaster@68.78.207.85". Is that the case?

Hi and thank you for the reply.
I have tried:
postmaster@68.78.207.85
postmaster@rtcomp.us
postmaster@rtcomp.no-ip.com
postmaster@rtcomp.no-ip.biz
and all the other domains in my lists. They all give me the same error. The ports to the server using all the about address, show as open. It just keeps bouncing everything I try. If there is more info that you would need, please tell me and I will post it. I am so stressed with this problem after 4 weeks of trying to solve it.

Sorry, I was a little misleading in my previous post... I had confused -you- sending email to postmaster@ip_address with the system doing that...
However, getting an error directly from qmail is a good start!
A few questions, now that it seems qmail is talking...
It looks like the mail server you're sending is on your LAN... Correct?
Can you verify that there is a directory within /home/vpopmail/domains/rtcomp.us/ called bob?
If so, verify the 'bob' password by viewing /home/vpopmail/domains/rtcomp.us/vpasswd. Find the line that starts w/ bob. The last element on that line is what the password for 'bob' is.
What happens when you telnet to port 110 on the email server and attempt to 'list' bob's email messages? (user bob@rtcomp.us, pass the_password_for_bob, list, quit)

Thank you again for the reply. I may have miss spoke myself too. I did try to send to the IP as well.
Ive been doing some investigating and found that I can not "telnet rtcomp.us 110"... It just sites there. I can however, "telnet rtcomp.zapto.org 110" and even log in.
This leads me to believe that rtcomp.us from godaddy.com is not forwarding the ports correctly.
bob@rtcomp.us, bert@rtcomp.us and postmaster@rtcomp.us are all in the system correctly. It just looks like rtcomp.us is not getting "home". Can you help in that direction?
I can gett to http://rtcomp.us and all the other http's correctly but it looks like there is nothing on the rtcomp.us going through to ports 110, 25, 143 or 993 all of witch is open as well on the correct system.
the subfolder 'bob' is there. What is 'vpasswd'? Could that be stored in the mysql backend and not a file? If thats the case, its good there, I can log in on the squiremail system fine.
I again thank you for any help in this.
bob@rtcomp.us ???? or bob@rtcomp.zapto.org ????

It looks to me that you haven't yet set up DNS (completely) for the rtcomp.us domain:
Domain Name: RTCOMP.US
Domain ID: D7293436-US
Sponsoring Registrar: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC.
<snip>
Name Server: PARK13.SECURESERVER.NET
Name Server: PARK14.SECURESERVER.NET
I see you have a website, but your MX records are as follows:
rtcomp.us. 3600 IN MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net.
rtcomp.us. 3600 IN MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net.
bob@rtcomp.us, bert@rtcomp.us and postmaster@rtcomp.us are all in the system correctly. It just looks like rtcomp.us is not getting "home". Can you help in that direction?

If you telnet to "rtcomp.us", you in actuality are telneting to 64.202.167.129, which is NOT the public IP address of your QMR email server (68.78.207.85). So telneting to email-type ports will more than likely result in unfavorable results.
In looking at your mx (mail exchange) records for rtcomp.us, it shows two email servers (shown above). Neither of these two mail servers have an IP of which you've supplied here as being your QMR mail server.
What you are going to need to do (at least this far, for DNS) is to edit the MX records for rtcomp.us (I haven't even looked at any of your other listed domains). Not being familiar w/ godaddy, I don't know if you can do that or not. If not... well, we'll get to 'if not' if you can't. It can get complicated, and may not be necessary here.
the subfolder 'bob' is there. What is 'vpasswd'? Could that be stored in the mysql backend and not a file? If thats the case, its good there, I can log in on the squiremail system fine.
My pardon, I was under the assumption you are running vpopmail w/o mysql (like myself). I would imagine vpopmail would not keep username/password information in the standard (non-mysql enabled) vpopmail manner.

Ok, I guess I didnt say it clear enough. my fault an I appoigize.
I have qmail, vpopmail, courier-imap, and mysql all working together. rtcomp.zapto.org (no-ip.com) gets to the correct system it seems but godaddy.com isnt. I just found that I can x-fer rtcomp.us to sbcglobal.net so that they can handle it, for free (love the word free :) ). So, I did that, now its just a matter of waiting for that to come in. In the mean time, the MX records is the next problem I think. Do I need to set that up on the "master server" or is sbc going to set that up?

Being that SBC is willing to handle DNS for you, more than likely the easiest route would be to have them do the modifications for the MX records. Hopefully that will just be a matter of making a phone call (or perhaps an email).
In the mean time, I do have a question concerning your failed telnet tests (to rtcomp.us). When you telneted, did you use a hostname (eg. mail.rtcomp.us) or an IP address? If an IP address, was it 68.78.207.85?
Having a successful telnet-to-110 test to 68.78.207.85 would almost completely narrow this to a DNS issue.

Ok, something I hadnt thought of. I was using "rtcomp.us" and not "mail.rtcomp.us" It came up and let me do the name but then errored out on the password... hmm

Both mail.rtcomp.us and rtcomp.us resolve to the same IP address (64.202.167.129).
When you telneted to 68.78.207.85, did you try users other than bob? Did they all fail authentication?
Since you're using mysql w/ vpopmail, is your sql server running?
FYI, when popping in (telneting to 110), a mail server will never come up and say "user does not exist" after typing "user who@you.are". It waits for the pass transaction and then will fail if either the user does not exist, or the user DOES exist and the password does not match.

I've been reflecting a bit over our novel ;-)
Something this time caught my eye... You can authenticate via SquirrelMail (IMAP), but not via telneting to 110 (POP)...
Granted, I'm not familiar w/ vpopmail/mysql integration, but here are a couple things I would verify/try:
1) Check the authentication mechanism in /var/qmail/supervise/qmail-pop3d/run:
Yours should be something like -
#!/bin/sh
PATH=/var/qmail/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin
export PATH
exec tcpserver -H -R -v -c100 0 110 qmail-popup mail.rtcomp.us \
/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw qmail-pop3d Maildir 2>&1
The vchkpw thing is the important bit here. It's what tells qmails pop server in what manner to authenticate.
2) Personally I would verify that the rtcomp.us virtual email domain was created correctly with no errors from either vpopmail OR mysql.
Via the command prompt, remove the rtcomp.us domain (assuming you don't have any important mail for any of your users accounts) - /home/vpopmail/bin/vdeldomain rtcomp.us
Verify that /home/vpopmail/domains/rtcomp.us directory no longer exists.
Recreate the domain - /home/vpopmail/bin/vadddomain rtcomp.us
It will ask for the postmasters password twice.
Note any errors that occur.
Then re-attempt to telnet to 110 using postmaster@rtcomp.us as the user w/ the password you just supplied.
Ditto noting errors.

OK - wow - this fixed my problem (which I posted earlier and need to point to this post)
First - I would like to say that that chalkoutline's Option #2 is what fixed me... i recreated the domain!!!
The error I was getting was:
Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)
It clearly DID exist, though...
AND - I had the opposite problem: I COULD authenticate through SquirrelMail and Don't even use POP3
NOW - what I want to know is WHY that solution fixed my. What did I screw up that caused this to NOT work in the first place?
I don't wanna get this thing into full production, and then have to blow everyone away because it stopped working... (which reminds me - I guess I better start planning my backup scenarios!)
ChalkOutline? (thanx in advance)
[edit] - or ANYONE!!! looks like it's been since May 2005 that ChalkOutline was on here!
He must not be having anymore problems!!! ;)
Once I work out all my kinks, my next stop is HEAVY SquirrelMail re-authoring... and i proly won't be around here anymore, either!

Chalkline: Thank you for your help!!! I had the same problem / error message stating:
"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'malva@jgoodman.net'. Subject 'Re: This is soooo you!', Account: 'mimivannuki@mimiv.net', Server: 'smtpout.secureserver.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 Sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts.', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"
I am happy to report that your recommendation to check the password setup solved my problem! Here's what I did:
1. I went to outlook express,
2. selected tools from the menu bar,
3. selected Accounts,
4. selected Properties,
5. then to the Server tab,
6. then clicked on "my server requires authentication", then
7. then clicked the "Settings" box
8. then selected "log on using"
9. then entered my godaddy email address in the "account name" box
10. then entered my godaddy email password in the "password" box
11. then I went back to outlook express
12. Went to my "outbox" folder
13. opened the email still sitting in my outbox
14. clicked on "send"
14. eMail sent without problems!
Thanks so much, Chalkline!
