Sorry about the outtage, folks. We had a hack this morning that took down the phpbb based board. Unfortunately, the hackers sent out some spam messages to board members. Anyway, the board is back up and in operation. Please let me know if you encounter anything odd. The biggest problem so far is that all the post dates were reset to today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Damn teenage crackers! What do they have to prove?! phpBB is a half-way decent web board package. It's crap like this which is undermining the growth of phpBB.

I feel your pain, man. To prevent yourself from future hacks, you had to shell out $$ for vBulletin. Others don't have that option or the budget.

There will be MANY here who will trot out a lot of tripe about how unsecured phpBB is, but conveniently ignore the hacks that Vboard and the other commercial products have suffered (no, I don't need to provide evidence, you can Google just as well as I can, grow up).
