hi,
vqadmin see browser language. if you set English your browser's language, you can solve this problem.
or
what is your browser language? For example: br
cd http_root/cgi-bin/vqadmin/html
ln -s en br
you can solve this problem. good luck.

Hi there,
Is there any chance you could please be a little more specific?
The language file 'en' is what came with the installation of the QMR Qmail, so am kinda scratching my head here :P
If I find a solution in the interim I'll be sure to post it :)
Cheers,
Ryan

Well wouldn't you know it... the very next Google search I did came up with results! :)

As it turns out, this is a client side browser issue. I have been trying to access it in Firefox 1.0.3, but when I tried it in IE6 it worked a treat!
I don't really have the time to investigate further at the moment, but I'm willing to bet that it's an issue with the headers passed through from the HTTP request...
...30 seconds later...
Well I just removed the [en-gb] (English-Great Britain) from my Firefox settings, and had only [en] in there and SHAZAM!!! It works in Firefox!
Hope this is of somehelp
Cheers,
Ryan
EDIT: A better solution would be to copy the 'en' file to 'en-gb' (or whatever language you're using), to ensure that the problem does not happen again

For Firefox 1.5 go:
Tools-Options-Advanced-(Tab)General-Edit language
You may have there a list of languages. This happens mainly if your browser is localized to other languages/countries (eg mine: Spanish).
Just move English to top of the list with the buttons at the right side of the list.
Presto.

If you don't want to change your browser's settings (this could happen for several reasons), you may go to the cgi-bin/vqadmin/html folder. There you will see various language files, br, en-us, en, etc.
Just copy the one you like the most to the language code you want. I copied en-us to es-ar (which is mine, Spanish-Argentina).

Actually, it's a problem with vqadmin. Even if your browser supplies several accepted languages, it only looks at the first and has no fallback when it isn't available.
You can see what headers your browser is sending by finding a site such as this one (http://tuckey.org/browserheaders/) (found by googling for "browser headers"). Look for the ACCEPT_LANGUAGE header.
I solved this problem by copying the existing "en" file to "en-gb".
