i have setup a qmail server using the qmailrocks package. i will be adding 15 mailboxes for users at work, they will be accessing their boxes via squirrel webmail. these 15 users will be sending eachother private information and it needs to be encrypted. i have downloaded and installed the gpg plugin for squirrel mail but im not sure if its what I exactly need. if each user had their own private key and had to fork off their public key to each user, this would make hell for renewing keys. I was thinking symmetric encryption would be the best way. i need input. thanks

You could just publish the keys to a public key server. Its been a while since I used any form of pgp but I wasn't aware that one had to renew one's key? Surely you would keep the same key pair till one day you lose your private key and have to regenerate both?
I can't really see how symmetric encryption would be useful to you at all. They would still have to delegate the key to each other somehow, and this would have to be done everytime a new message is encrypted, otherwise theres always the risk that someone might've cracked the key when the last message was sent. But of course, thats just my paranoid opinion. Long live quantum cryptography! :)
